In order to improve the efficiency and consistency of responses to the public, the Visa Office is establishing one point of contact for all domestic inquiries regarding nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases. The National Visa Center (NVC) will begin handling all domestic email and telephone inquiries from the public on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases beginning Monday, January 12, 2015 at 7:00 a.m. (EST).

Please continue to use the contact information outlined below until Monday, January 12. This page will be updated at that time to reflect the new contact information.

Hello body

I have a case like you to Ethiopian embassy, i already get my police certificate using the approval notice from uscis( before NVC). what u need is to send or scann the approval letter u got from USCIS to ur body in ethiopia. i am dead sure they will accept it, because they accept mine. to be sure send both the receipt and approval letter from USCIS. u do not need to wait from NVC!

This is stupid. Just spoke to NVC, so it takes 42 days for a supervisor review, she recommended me send the same extra form, since I did used total income on my 1040 form, and weird thing is I put total income for 2012 and 2011 correct, but not 2013. How can that happen, I am looking at it, I took same extra line from all three tax returns.

Hi question... how long will it take for supervisor review? I also got a checklist for i-864/A it said that the sponsor (my husband) didnt sign and dated the sponsor promise... but my husband is 100% sure that he signed and dated it... where thinking for supervisor review.

He called yesterday but the rep was so rude and yelled my husband and told him to just submit what is asked for and its faster than to ask for review.

Is this true??

Never done request a supervisor review before, do I just call them, then say I need request a supervisor review? And once I got a supervisor, just ask if they can check the form again?

Yes, tell them you need to speak to supervisor once they on phone explain that you are 100 sure abd have copies that it was sign and dated.

Call again. Get aggressive if you know you did the correct thing on aos. Request to speak to supervisor. Rep state it takes 45 days to be review by supervisor. But I have read here when you speak to a supervisor within a week you can get cc.

I would try first before submitting again and resetting yourself for 60 days wait.

Thanks will try to call again... but the thing is my husband already submit the form today as per rep adviced... i told my husband if shes rude why trust her uggh.. i hope its not yet late to ask for supervisor review.

If he submitted it today it can take a few days before they scan it (its nvc) once you get supervisor on phone explain you have prove it was done correctly and that your husband resubmitted as per rude rep.
