oh no :(

do you think it best to wait and see if they accept it or not, or resend a correct affidavit of support?

Looking at your timeline, your AOS was sent Nov 24th, so they should be getting to your package within the next 2 weeks. I'd suggest just waiting and see. There's the possibility you won't get a checklist, and if you do, there might be more wrong that just that. But, it's up to you on what to do. If it were me though, I'd wait.

Confused ! So in order to get a police report from ethiopia you need a letter requesting it which NVC gives us ... So I call and ask for it and they state that I can send all the documents I have and when they see I need it they will send the letter or I can email them requesting it ... So I ask if I send without it will it generate a checklist she said yes and when we send you the letter just get it and send it back . So I ask will i have to wait another 60 days?! She said sorry yes you do... So she said or you can hold off sending them send us an email and we will send you the letter then you can send the documents ... So do they take 60 days to answer emails?? So i have to automatically wait 120 days because I can't get the letter before hand ??

I'm so lost !! Why would I have to wait an extra 60 days due to them not sending me the letter before hand knowing I need it??

My First reply in VS after following for many months.

Anyway, I got my CC on January 5th and still waiting for interview date.

A question though...While trying to print my DS -261 confirmation page, I was clicking around and now MY DS 261 has stated INCOMPLETE.

I am so confused now. Should I just go ahead and resubmit it or should i just let it me? And won't resubmitting will change my submission date or it won't matter at this point as my case has been Complete...I feel stupid...I think I was too excited :(

Don't worry...you don't have to re-submit it...Just print the confirmation page and take it with you to the interview

Case complete as of today!!! Saw 3 N/As and then spoke to Joyce who confirmed it and told me that they're waiting for an interview date.

I can't believe it and was shaking when I saw the N/A... I took a screen shot because I was scared I was dreaming.

OMG!! I am so happy for you!!!!! :)

Just got off phone, told me that I got a checklist for Joint sponsor tax income. I asked him which income on form 1040 I should use, he said the total income, which that's what I put, and I just checked again.

Anyone know that if I can call them get a supervisor to take another look at my joint sponsor's I864 form, or I need to send a extra same one to them, which is super stupid to me. :crying:

No need to remind me, I read my messages every day, typically within a few minutes of receiving it. But I take my time to reply to them. If you want my personal help, then you'll have to be patient. Otherwise, as I've stated in the first post, it's better (and faster) to post in one of the threads as others can chime in.

And no, you'd bring the paperwork with you to the interview, as it states in the checklist.

First off, I don't recommend stapling anything. Use paperclips instead if you want to use something.

And no, you still write it on every single page. They're going to remove the staple (or paperclip) as soon as they get to it. So, then only a few pages out of your entire package will have the case number written on it. Which isn't going to help if one that doesn't have it on it gets misplaced.

Thank you Saylin, noooooooooooo I'll be and am patient, problem is some and I mean a lot of my e-mails have been how shall I put it, not arriving at their destination. Many of my friends have complained I haven't replied to them when I have. So sorry I didn't explain myself. :)

Request a supervisor review.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Never done request a supervisor review before, do I just call them, then say I need request a supervisor review? And once I got a supervisor, just ask if they can check the form again?

Thank you

Hello body

I have a case like you to Ethiopian embassy, i already get my police certificate using the approval notice from uscis( before NVC). what u need is to send or scann the approval letter u got from USCIS to ur body in ethiopia. i am dead sure they will accept it, because they accept mine. to be sure send both the receipt and approval letter from USCIS. u do not need to wait from NVC!
