on all my AOS documents I should write the case # I understand but since their stapled I only write it on the top of the first page correct?

my tax transcripts are stapled by year and the AOS is stapled and my paystubs are stapled so just write the case # on the top of each set of documents first page correct?

Sweet heart please check your messages. :D Also wanted you to know checked CEAC and it shows ready woooooooooo hooooooooooooo and since Egypt doesn't allow any extra anything given at the time of interview I will be sending it directly to the Embassy is that? Thank you your Yodaness. :D129fs238648.gif

No need to remind me, I read my messages every day, typically within a few minutes of receiving it. But I take my time to reply to them. If you want my personal help, then you'll have to be patient. Otherwise, as I've stated in the first post, it's better (and faster) to post in one of the threads as others can chime in.

And no, you'd bring the paperwork with you to the interview, as it states in the checklist.

First off, I don't recommend stapling anything. Use paperclips instead if you want to use something.

And no, you still write it on every single page. They're going to remove the staple (or paperclip) as soon as they get to it. So, then only a few pages out of your entire package will have the case number written on it. Which isn't going to help if one that doesn't have it on it gets misplaced.

Why NVC is going so sloooow?!? :( :( :(

Hello...When is you're last scan date ? Yes I agree it does seem like NVC is slower than they were the week preceding the holidays. It is frustratiing when you are soooooooooo close to the 60 day review period ending.

I am so tempted to call every day but it is way to depressing to hear " your documents have not been reviewed yet" and then the 60 day catch all spiel.

I hope that they speed up soon before we all lose our minds.

Hang in there !!!!

Reason for not recommending staples (in case you're curious, haha): it takes much more work removing staples than paperclips. And I don't know about you, but wouldn't you rather an officer be happy (since removing a paperclip is nothing) instead of aggravated since removing a staple requires a staple remover and much more time? Personally, when I have to remove a staple, I dread it cause it's such a pain in the butt, plus I'm always scared of hurting myself somehow on it  So, just something I suggest thinking about ;) Obviously, staples aren't FORBIDDEN, but paperclips are just so much easier, for both parties.

The IV bill has nothing to do with the AOS package  Time to read post 1 ;)

haha ! now that you put it that way I understand.. I just figured stapling stuff together is easier for not losing the whole packet! cant lose one sheet if its stapled! you either have it all or don't! lol but I totally get what your saying! I hope they don't give me a rfe for how ugly my papers look now that I unstapled them

Well, paperclips may not do as good of a job, but like I said, they do take the staples apart once they get to your package, so whether you staple or paperclip, there's always the chance they'll lose something (unfortunately). But, writing your case number on each page increases the chance it'll be reunited to the case if it does get misplaced.

And haha, I doubt they'd give a checklist on the cosmetic appearance of your paperwork :P As long as it didn't ruin any information (unless you stapled in like the middle of the page, this shouldn't be an issue), you'll be fine ;)

Only if she fills in the assets section.

And write in $0 on the question about the three year's of tax information. She'll then need to include a letter stating as to why she didn't file taxes.

Yes we prepared the letter, but we don't want to fill the assets since we using joint sponsor but some say its recommended to send her bank statement is that true?
