I have been quiet reader. For IR-5 my last checklsit scan date was Nov 10th. I saw 3 n/a on Dec 31st.

I called nvc that evening with my dad's case # and I was told by rep tht they need a statement from me why I did not send parents marriage certificate whereas i am 110% sure i sent (i.e., was reason for checklist) and to also explain why there is affadavit for marriage.

I called again half an hour later now with my mom's case now they are saying my case has not be reviewed.

I am completely confused although I see 3 n/a's in both cases.

What should I be doing at this point?

Hey guys! We are sill waiting for the IV Fee to appear, but in the mean time I am trying to get everything together so we can send it ASAP once we get the OK.

My 2 questions (today) are:

1. If I (the petitioner) fill out the I-864 and include a letter stating that I do not meet the requirements to be sponsor, do I still need to include all the documentation? I didn't file taxes the last 2 years because I made so little, and my boss is not being cooperative when it comes to the letters from my employer stating how much I earned and so on. Do I really need to include a bunch of proof that I make very little money here in Brazil? Especially when I won't continue with the same job once we move to the states, and considering that my parents will be sponsoring my wife.

2. On the DS 260 form it asks if a spouse or children will being immigrating with the applicant. Technically my wife will be immigrating alone, because our daughter and I already have citizenship. On the other hand we will all be traveling together. So do I say yes she is immigrating with her spouse/child or no she is immigrating alone?

- I feel like the second one might be a stupid question but I'd rather be safe than sorry (and get a checklist or delay).

20/07/2012 Marriage
23/09/2014 I-130 Sent
29/09/2014 I-130 NOA1
22/10/2014 I-130 Approved

02/12/2014 Received DS-261 / AOS Bill
03/12/2014 Submit DS-261
17/12/2014 Pay AOS Bill

For question 2, you should say your wife is immigrating alone...You & your children are not immigrating to the US since you are already U.S Citizens

HELP PLEASE!!

After like 59 days of waiting got an email from NVC said that we have a checklist :( not a good year to start with... it said on i-864/A sponsor agreement the sponsor did not signed and dated the appropriate line :( but my husband said he did signed and dated.. So how come we got checklisted on that part? Ughh not a good morning news for me.

is it possible that it is a false checklist??

If its a real checklist is there anyway to ask nvc to rush it for review?

Thanks in advance.

In general, if the checklist is that specific, then it is NOT a false checklist.

1. Do u have a copy of the form i-864a you submitted and verify if the signature is there or not ?

2. The part 2 has to be signed by the household members (spouse for example) of the joint sponser. Are you sure that part 2 was signed by this household member ?
