A petition may or may not due nothing, but heck I figured I would try. Please sign if you agree the way in which they are processing cases is unfair. Here is the link: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/make-processing-uscis-service-centers-more-fair/jq4ZsTW5

During this process it has really bothered my heart how unfair they handle something which is so delicate to us who file. I am not only angry for me, but angry for everyone else, especially those waiting longer than me, only to then see someone approved in less time.

So if someone gets stuck in name checks or investigation for 2 years you are willing to wait behind them because they were first ? Be careful of what you wish for.

If only it was that, but I highly doubt that that is what occurs a lot of the time.

Don't waste your time, this country has more important things to deal anyways.

Have you thought of starting a hash tag?

Good luck with your petition.

If you get mad every time someone else's case moves faster than yours then the process will be unbearable.

I think enough people care about this subject or some form of it enough that something should be done. It seems that when people think about immigration reform they mostly talk about illegal immigrants. It must not be forgotten that for the people who do things the way the American government requires need some improvement. Everyone complains, but why isn't more done. No one can deny that the system is faulty, very faulty.

That's a lot of paperwork though.

You are well within the time frame. TSC is currently processing May 2014 I-130's for spouses of USC. I will save you the effort - if you call them, that is the answer you will get.

There is no doubt the uscis system is severely broken and un-fair. So many people are approved before deserving others, and it makes no sense. One DAY someone will make the "untouchable USCIS" answer for its actions.

As most frequent posters and mods., know I am pro "expatiated" as now we have two horrific typhoons in two years, and people there are living in "card board boxes".,.,and if someone meets the criteria of USCIS.,.,.,and they want to get as many people out of there, as possible, then so be it. IT is just MY opinion.

If similar occurrences happen to other countries, then they should be treated the same, expatiated!

Expatiated?

Sounds painful.

I for one agree, if everyone continues to just sit back and take the process the way it is, nothing will ever change. We are over 5 months and still waiting, I just returned from a month visit and still have yet to hear anything from USCIS. I would have stayed longer but was only allowed 30 days at a time on a tourist visa. Unlike most I have the ability to make frequent trips but I would love for my fiance to be able to visit me here while we wait out this long process. They should at least issue a tourist visa while we wait on the process, just my opinion. The process is broken and needs to be fixed. I've seen people waiting over a year to be reunited and in my opinion that's unacceptable. I think signing a petition is at least a step in the right direction. You cant complain if you don't make an effort to do something about it.

its a case to case basis... let's say people who filed USC based on marriage vs. based on IR2 just like me, based on marriage will be subjected to more scrutiny to avoid fraud but IR2 won't be since petitioned by a USC parent.. it takes awhile as it get complicated, let's say misdemeanor / felony charges..
