I do not have much information for you, just a little.

Is she Muslim also? If she is then she should bring from the United States the proof that she is and you should file that proof with the court. Also send a copy of that proof with your I-130 petition. Make sure you take lots of pictures. The embassy likes to see pictures when you interview.

My husband and I have a large age gap just be ready to answer questions at the interview on why you love someone her age.

The embassy tried to say my husband and I were not legally married because I am Christian and he is Muslim. If we had got married in court they would have been right but we had a religious wedding at his house. My husband got his visa but it took a lot of time.

if she convert to islam that will be better for u ,,,

if she not ,, then u will get visa very hardly ,, i meant its will took around 3 to 4 years

I believe that someone should not convert to a religion just for immigration purposes, this is a very delicate issue and has to come from the heart. Also, there are many couples here that share the same religion and have had to face long waits, so sharing the same religion does not guaranty that his visa will be issued any sooner.

The embassy in Pakistan did not give my husband a visa saying that in Pakistan it is against the law for a Christian who is not from Pakistan to marry with a Pakistani Muslim. At the interview they asked my husband if I was a Muslim and he told the truth that I was not. We spent almost 2 years in AP before they denied his visa. I hired a lawyer here in the United States to research our marriage and handle our appeal. She found that we were legally married and we got a letter from the Union Counsel saying we were married. After almost 2 more years in AP his visa was issued.

My advice is to not go to the court house and have a religious marriage. We filed our marriage papers with the Union Counsel. Take plenty of pictures and have a big wedding. The embassy said Pakistani's always have big weddings and we didn't have one so they denied the visa for that reason also.

Really you and your father should talk to a Pakistani lawyer who knows about the marriage laws or someone high up in the Union Counsel. If the marriage is not done just right the embassy will deny the visa because of religion.
