Hi Motherof3, Have you got your greencard yet? They told me 2 weeks so not expecting to get mine until maybe next week.

Hi Angel66, I did receive my Greencard. I got an email notification that It was mailed out on Sept. 2, confirmed that It was actually mailed out on the 3rd, got the Tracking number from USCIS on the 4th, delivery attempt made on the 5th (Saturday) and It was at my Lawyers Office which was closed on the weekend and delivered on the 7th because the 6th was Labor Day. So 2 days maximum and It was at my PO.

If you haven't got a Tracking number for your card as yet, call USCIS Customer Service and get It. I hope this helps and you'll get your card In the mail very soon. Good Luck,

Angel66, did you have email/text notifications setup? If so, did you receive an email stating that your welcome letter as well as you agree card has been mailed out to you?

I don't think it sped my case up in terms of getting work permit. My approval for that took just under 90 days and up until this day I have not received my work permit lol. However, once the Work permit was approved it was very quick for me to get my appt

This is so funny. I just went to the mailbox and my daughter's Greencard was in the post so minus the holiday it took about 9/10 days. Mine is no place insight. She got her work permit and I still haven't got mine LOL.

I do have the notifications setup and never got anything from them. I checked the site which site Card is being processed.

I hope it comes and it doesn't end up the same way as my work permit

It is possible, but you should try and find out why it's been pending for three years first by contacting one of your congressional representatives and/or the DHS Ombudsman.

It's very complicated to draft a writ of mandamus and many immigration attorneys do not handle writ of mandamus because of the complexity.

Did you contact your congress person ?

File a new e request.

Write to VAWA UNIT

Dear Sandra, done that so many times.

Ombudsman, Congress person, e-requests every month, letters to Vawa Unit, info-pass appointments. So tired of all that:(

I contacted them but it looks like mine is still showing that it is being produced. There is no indication that it has even been sent yet. Don't understand how my daughter got hers so quick. They told me can take up to 90 days before I receive it. If I haven't got it by November I should call them back.
