Hi. I am new here. I have two questions. 1. How long does it take to renew a prima facie? 2. How long after replying to a rfe will there be further action on my case?

hi Goeheaven,

Your questions do not have definite answers, timing can be 30-90 days for PF renewal, but that depends on the cases before you. With RFES, there is no definite answer too, it can depend on if you submitted the rfe response ontime, also if you submitted exactly what they want. All cases are different and most officers have different cases they are dealing with too.... hope that helps.

kc201207. USCIS answers to the alien, but i saw some cases despite the alien submitted the request USCIS answered to the attorney, then fill out the form and just tell your attorney you submitted an e request and in case he gets the answer to let you know.

Mamiof2 the Law suit(Writ of Mandamus) is not indicated for EAD cases at all, it's used regarding delay in adjudication of the VAWA or AOS case,if over 12/16 months pending.

Thanks for clearing that!!!
