I filled out the timeline stamp but not sure why it doesn't display like others. Anyways can't remember all the ins and outs but this is it basically.

Oct 6 received notification of receipt of I360

I think it was December I got RFE, had to submit police check from my country

April 16 Vawa approved

May Submitted I485, I765 and I131

May 4 NOA received for AOS

May 11 NOA sent

June 8 Biometrics

June 9 Case transferred to Lee MO

July 24 EAD and Travel Doc Approved

July 29 my daughter received her EAD card. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive.

July 31 Infopass tried to expedite I485

Aug 5 call from USCIS denied my expedition request

Aug 8 letter sent from USCIS for appt

Aug 31 Interview

Local office Jacksonville Fl

Hi Sandra and member of VJ,

I'm so happy to found this group by myself today because i have been going throughout since i filed my petition, meanwhile my attorney helped me in putting all the paper works together.

My questions is if your status of form i-485 said accepted by the lockbox facility, what does that mean AND should i expect to receive my EAD without getting approve from AOS. I filed in march 2015

KC201307 to receive EAD you must file I-765 along with I-485, and the EAD will be issued before the AOS approval.(30/90 days)

It means that you submitted the AOS and it was received by USCIS.Soon you will get the I-797 regarding your AOS.

My baby's father filed for child custody and I'm scared he might win because he's working and I'm not and live in public assistance.

Hun, mine was send to the Vermont center and I am over 90 days on the wait now. I still don't have my EAD. They won't take your baby away from you just like that.. How old is the little one? Good luck!

Mamiof2,thank you for your feedback my little one is 2years.mine is over 120days since I apply for EAD, should i call to check my status with them or is that the normal processing time because my online status is still showing the same thing no change and from what I have read from our members here,that we shouldn't rely on the online status .

hey KC, usually you should get your EAD after 90 days after filing, maybe you do an E Request to find out about it

I've read 90/120 days not to long ago... I have also been told " a pending lawsuit against USCIS for delayed processing in issuing employment authorization documents" not sure if that is true.. It may be a rumor. I do know you can contact them and ask for a service request.. When did you file? And as for your child, it's young and I don't see a judge taking such young child from its mother. My Daughter is 8 and I was awarded sole custody. Don't give up.
