Dear friends,

after 5 years of applying for I-360, after long fight and many many letters and proves sent to VSC, with help of many doctors, friends and attorneys, after countless hours of sleepless nights and a lot of stress I finally got email from VSC stating that my I-360 application has been APPROVED!

I first applied on 2010 and it got denied then I submit appeal what also got denied. Then in December 2014 I applied again for I-360, I-485, I-765 and I-131. I have received 2 RFE, First one for good moral character and second RFE was for proof of abuse and Bona Fide marriage. After submitting RFE responds at end of June, today they update my case on their website saying I-360 has been approved.

Without of help from all of you, specially without help of Sandranj I will never get this approved. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL HELP FROM EVERYONE!!!

Now since my I-360 has been approved and I have I-485 pending I have few questions:

1. What is next step and what do you think how long it will take me to get Green Card?

2. Will I have interview or not?

3. If I have interview how long it will take for it and will it be in local office or I will have o go to Vermont?

4. Since I never got Prima Facie can I apply now for public benefits, since my I-360 is approved?

5. I had I-131 advance parole approved, but I never used it. Is it save to use it now or should I wait for GC?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, GOD BLESS YOU ALL, AND I HOPE AND PRAY THAT EVERYONE WHO SUFFERED ABUSE GETS THEIR VAWA APPLICATION APPROVED FAST!

my VAWA got approved and i got a letter saying that. thanks SANDRANJ for every help.

I have exact same question that macbook listed from 1st to 4 th except parole which i don't have . pls answer details for us . even i haven't applied for public benefits mostly because i don't know how to .

thanks

Hi Sandranj, I just ask you a questions, what are the public benefits that I can apply using my prima facie? Can I use it to get a loan for my financial needs since I don't have any source of income. I only stayed in a older couple friends they provide me food and shelter and I just helped them clean their house and work on their yard and thats only is all. Am I also eligible to apply for work while I'm waiting for the decision of my I-360? Can I use my prima facie and social security number to apply for work? I had a pending I-130, I suppose to get a biometric done last november 2014 but I left my abusived husband before the date of biometric and didn't go by the time then..I applied I-360 December and file a divorce at the same time. Last month I sent I-485, I-765, fee waiver request and a request to change my marriage name to maiden back together with the divorce decree and other supporting documents. The I-360 was in married name and my I-485, I-765 are in my maiden name. Would it hurt the approval of my I-360? I received NOA of my I-485 saying fee previously collected section: adjustment as beneficiary of immigrants. What dies it mean? and I-765 says fee waived..I hope somebody can help..Thanks a lot.

Hi sandra, I thank you very much for your quick response. Yes after I filed I-360, they sent me RFE. It is about bonafide marraige. So I sent the an a detailed affidavit with my signature and affidavit of one friend who witnessed my situation. Then, last april 13,2015 they sent me a prima facie determination. Until now I didn't hear anything about my I-360.I just files I-485, I-765 with fee waiver request this month first week July 2015 and they sent me NOA. I sent more questions after my first message earlier. Hope you can advice me what to do..Thank you.

By federal law a green card holder only needs to present their green card when re-entering the US, however many times CBP will ask for your passport too. Given that you'll likely be carrying your passport anyway (to get into the foreign country you're visiting) then you will have it to give to them. Theoretically you could decline their request and see what happens. They can't deny you entry on the basis of not presenting your passport though, if your green card is valid.
