Thanks Sandranj, you are right, but chrisitan wedding vows said to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part. Most people here got poor marriage experience, Now only hope kids have happy childhood. thanks again, God bless you all.

Yyyang please do not twist the Bible. You read just the part you wanted to read. Did you skip the part where God commands us to obey the authorities?

What would you tell to a mother that had her "Christian" daughter murdered by her husband when she was trying to "save" her marriage?

What would you tell you to a child that saw her father killing her "Christian" mother when her mother was trying to save her marriage?

If you want to give a fundamentalist interpretation of the Bible then why are you filing VAWA? I read the Bible over 20 times I never found about VAWA act in the Bible.

yiyang, all i can say is you are in denial, wake up fast and smell the roses. Her drug habit is a disease, you can pray for her! Do not let your children suffer by making this mistake to bring her into your life again. She has to want it for herself. You can force a horse to a river but you cannot force it to drink water, just move on. Pls stop bringing your faith into this, cos you are twisting the word.

Sandra hope you are well!!

Hmmm... very tough issue to begin with... can you go to court and request a supervised visit for his kids? I hate abuse vehemently...

we live in two different states, that makes it more difficult, have u had experience about supervised visit for kids? it might be more complicated since we live in two different states,

Mine has no contact with us by his choice till 3 month ago when he was served with a pfa, he could have phone contact with our Child but chooses not to mail me his Number so he can be called by our Child. He doesn't bother now and hasn't seen our Child is 21 month. I have a Pfa that is valid till 2017. Wish you luck!

I see, probably he avoids the contact because he knows he will get arrested if any abuse showing from him again. sad poor men who cant control themselves, well thanks for ur advise,.........I haven't heard from a pfa before, but now I know, I will see what options will be good for me and my kids

Hi guys,

I just received my first Prima Facie last week after 15 working days submitted all 3 applications.

So my next step is to wait for a Bio appointment, right?

I am confused. The Prima Facie comes first or the fingerprint?

Thank you

Hey VJ members....I need your Input on this one. I've been waiting for my AOS Interview (after VAWA Approval) since May 2015 and after getting 2 separate email notifications of my case transfer, In the said month (May), On July 9, 2015 I received an email notification Informing me that a Notice that was sent to my Attorney had to be returned by the PO because they couldn't deliver It. Now, all my correspondences have always been sent and received by my Attorney except for this notice and NO there has not been a change of Address. Can anyone explain what this could mean and what this notice might be about? Thanks In Advance.

Dear friends,

after 5 years of applying for I-360, after long fight and many many letters and proves sent to VSC, with help of many doctors, friends and attorneys, after countless hours of sleepless nights and a lot of stress I finally got email from VSC stating that my I-360 application has been APPROVED!

I first applied on 2010 and it got denied then I submit appeal what also got denied. Then in December 2014 I applied again for I-360, I-485, I-765 and I-131. I have received 2 RFE, First one for good moral character and second RFE was for proof of abuse and Bona Fide marriage. After submitting RFE responds at end of June, today they update my case on their website saying I-360 has been approved.

Without of help from all of you, specially without help of Sandranj I will never get this approved. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL HELP FROM EVERYONE!!!

Now since my I-360 has been approved and I have I-485 pending I have few questions:

1. What is next step and what do you think how long it will take me to get Green Card?

2. Will I have interview or not?

3. If I have interview how long it will take for it and will it be in local office or I will have o go to Vermont?

4. Since I never got Prima Facie can I apply now for public benefits, since my I-360 is approved?

5. I had I-131 advance parole approved, but I never used it. Is it save to use it now or should I wait for GC?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, GOD BLESS YOU ALL, AND I HOPE AND PRAY THAT EVERYONE WHO SUFFERED ABUSE GETS THEIR VAWA APPLICATION APPROVED FAST!

I'm not attorney and this is not legal advice, this is just my personal opinion!
