Sandra, do you recommend that I contact the Ombudsman about my interview experience now or wait until I receive a decision on my I485. I really felt like I was offended at that time of the interview. He made me feel like just because I was from a country that has a lot of rebels and violence, that I am also that kind of person. What do you think I should do. My problems never end :crying:

Northacher,my officer was mean too...l went with my lawyer, and when the officers wanted to ask more detailed questions,my lawyer said NO..but then the officer started arguing with my lawyer that she has a right to ask whatever she wants and when my lawyer asked to speak to a supervisor...the officer was really pissed off..l could tell she wasnt happy at all and somehow l knew she woudnt give me a decision that day but obviously l didnt expect it to take this long either...whatever she did to my file,l dont know..l feel like she keeps pushing it back whenever its my turn.but only God knows.l did an infopass back in november but all they said was my case is still pending...l,m scared to ask my lawyer to make another infopass cos he always charge $85 everytime l ask him to do something and l wonder if l can make my own infopass if l have a lawyer on file.

Hey Missymd, In regards to the infopass, i know for a fact you can do infopass without your lawyer, you simply book it online, its up to you whether or not to enter your lawyers info in the page, but I did not enter my lawyers info. I booked in and got a appt within 2 days of booking. You arrive then and ask all questions you have on your chest with an agent.

missymind I suggest you not to contact the Senator, usually he/she is too busy , and most of they time he/she does not contact USCIS, but the congress person usually contacts USCIS .

Congress man and USCIS ombudsman can inquire on our behalf .The Senators represent the Constituents. You can read here about the USCIS onbudsman duties.http://www.dhs.gov/homeland-security-act-section-452-citizenship-and-immigration-services-ombudsman
