Bahmabreeze Sandra is helping as a regular person here, not as a lawyer. She does this in her free time, because she wants to help. She does not get any profit from this.

I think the least people can do is thank her. And I am sure if you do use your personal free time to help people, it can be frustrating when people have expectations or not even say thank you.

I cannot even imagine how much time she sacrifices for nothing in return.

If someone is not even willing to say thank you or complains about advice, then the person should not even ask in the first place.

People here are desperate for any kind of help and support. Because it is a very emotional draining long hard journey. And so far, genuine people have been more than thankful and helpful.

I cannot even put in words, how much it helps to know, that there are other people here, who know what it feels like and who share their experiences and advice. When there is no one to turn to, people can always rely on this group for advice or help, especially Sandra.

So please do not criticize her, when she simply is venting about that it is frustrating, when people do not show any gratefulness.

It will only ruin the ambiance in this group and may limit the help people receive here.

And that would be a shame! Because after all of the people that have completed their journey, the ones that are currently going through everything, there will be more people in the future needing the same help, as we all did...

I consider myself lucky, that I have received so much help and support so far and I do not get tired of thanking the people who had part in this!

And seeing all the people who reply and especially Sandra helping people with their cases gives me HOPE!

Hope that soon I can have a normal life again and start over....

I agree. When my vawa got approved first person got into my mind was Sandra. In this journey there was a lot of people and organizations helped me. But Sandra was right there and felt how i felt. I emailed her in the middle of the night as an emergency, she did not hesitate to help me.

Any negative comment against her really irritates me. Really!!!!

Bahamabreeze when I help someone at least I hope to hear from the person "hey I was approved",saying thank you is part of being polite and I cant expect this from everyone.

I am not her attorney that being sad there is no breach of confidentiality.

Last year I had over 100 vawas approved, all of them visa journey members.I never charged for VAWA or AOS based in Vawa. I am not here for 10 years to get cases,I am blessed enough with and in my work.

Hi Sandranj,

I need to say this, you are helping so many people without meeting and seeing them . that shows how big your heart is. I am sorry that some people dont see the unconditional care and willingness to make a diffrence in peoples life for good. I respect you a lot . and admire that you are using your knowledge for the good things. its very kind of you. and your consistency to assist through vj pages speaks alot about you. I know you wont let any person with small minded effect you but still I need to say please disregard and continue to make diffrence and spreading joy and hope . as you are doing . thank you for answering me everytime I am in need . I value your time, knowledge and heart .

This still didn't satisfy my concern because adjudication of my i485 depends on the outcome of my VAWA application. So In any case I'd still need to know the status of my i360 beforehand. Sigh.....just going through the anxiety and confused blues,,,,,,the fact that I haven't received an RFE gives me the Impression that my case Is at a standstill. Pushed to the side....

will you please share your time line ?

Thank you Norabloom. I am thrilled when people that I helped have the case approved, not because it will fulfill my ego, but because I pray for every single person that went through abuse, because I ask God's guidance when handling each case, and of course I want to know when the case is approved, their joy is mine too, but I guess some people just share misery, nothing else .I know that God uses me tremendously when I am doing the cases. I do not praise myself for any approval,I thank the Lord for every single case approved.I do not walk in my life according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Im sorry to repost this, but I am a bit confused.

I just got this email. (Maybe it has been explained before) But what does it mean?

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On May 4, 2015, we transferred your Form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXXXX, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case.

Thanks!

Nothing to be confused or stressed about, it just means that they are processing your I-485. If your vawa I-360 is approved, then they probably sent your I-485 to NBC, it will be there for a short period and then NBC will send it to your local office in order for them to schedule an interview for you.
