Had submitted my AOS package

October 2014

Had RFE in November for the affidativ or support

Asked in January to have it on hold until the VAWA decision

AOS package got denied in February because of the affidativ of support.

I submitted my VAWA 1st of December.

Receipt notice 5th of December 2014

Prima Facie 11th of December 2014 (Valid until June 9th 2015)

No RFE so far

After my AOS package got denied the Family Law clinic from the law department of the University (helped me with the restraining order and still helping me with the divorce) forwarded my case to their immigration department and they submitted the AOS and EAD with me end of March 2015 under VAWA. Got accepted and have receipt notices for 1st of April...

As far as I understood that would happen if my VAWA gets denied...

Not the AOS...

I hope I get the VAWA approved soon and my EAD =(

The lawyer said it is a strong case, but you never know, until immigrations decide...

Dodgertown I don't know if you mailed your AOS to Vermont or not,check your receipt ok. You suppose to send the forms to Vermont.

CRU means Case Resolution Unit,if you put VAWA Unit it's ok.

I actually sent everything to Vermont before I asked you this question. Just wanted to make sure it is going in the right direction, you know))) Some people were telling me that I supposed to send it to Chicago, I have no idea where they got this information from.

Also, I did mark it as ATTN:CRU, instead of "Vawa Unit". Do you think this could be an issue? ...should have asked you all these question before I dropped the package at post office.

Angel66.ask.your mom doctor a letter mentioning her health problem and what kind the treatment she is doing.

I can draft the lettter asking to expedite your case.

Fill out the AOS.forms and email me to review ok.

Sandra - you are an amazing person by the way. I listened to Joel Osteen and he talked about genetically altered fruit that does not have seed therefore cannot be planted, and many people live this way and cannot sow. Anyway his message was to always give back and sow seed. You have been doing that for years and have touched so many lives and continue to do so.

Hi Sandranj,

I received RFE for EAD for the two copies of my passport. and when i check my status with the help of receipt no on RFE it says I would here from them before june 02,

filed on feb 05 including VAWA and everything

biometrics march 18

RFE submission on March 25,

Do you have any idea , how long this would take ? or is there a way to find whats happening other than from the reciept no. or did i screw up .

it seems my EAD case was approved already ,can you please tell me how long does it take to get in the mail usually ? and is the instructions that i need to follow difficult .

I know my wife since 2010,,while i was in Haiti,but i was also studying networks in Dominican republic she used to travel to see me many times.

She applied for k1 visa

I came in US dec 2012

Married jan 2013,,and she applied for i485 in march 2013,,since when my case is pending,but i had my ead card 2 times..

My wife was cheating with her baby daddy..she was so disrespectful....

Last month feb 2015..she called uscis to cancel everything...

Is that possible to apply for vawa??

I Got police report cuz she threw all my stuff outside

I got her foodstamp claiming shes single ..just to get benefits

I got her car insurance claiming shes still married to his baby daddy to

Loveutoo considering what you posted here you don't have a VAWA CASE. USCIS considers cheating as an unpleasant situation,but not abuse.
