Hey you all. Am a regular visitor on this forum for the last two years but has not posted. I have been laughing and crying and celebrating together with this family because am also on the same journey. Just a word of encouragement, God is in control and is able, I am currently recompiling for Refiling.

I went to my biometry. I was nerves regardless. The lady who took my fingerprints had a trouble doing it so. She asked why my hands are so cold. I said this is the immigration, what'd you think..you guys are scary lol. She smiled and said, oh no worrys!

There was a girl who went to a green card interview. She had forgotten her ID when she was asked. The lady told her that they cant interview her w/o an ID. The girl started outburst crying. I dont blame her!!! But the lady was generous and said "Dont worry, dont cry... come back before 3pm, if you cant come back today, come back tomorrow at 11am"

I thought to myself hopefully, my local office would be reasonable...fingers crossed!!!

You cannot file an I-485 if you're under removal proceedings; you would first need to get those terminated.

You are ineligible to file for adjustment of status whilst still under removal proceedings.

Happy Easter VJ members!

I finally decided to apply for adjustment of status. My VAWA case was approved last year.

I did a quick google search but couldn't find any VAWA specific I-485 checklist. So, for those of you who did submit I-485 already, could you please share a full list of docs and forms that have to submitted for adjustment of status. Nobody likes to see RFE letters))))) Thanks in advance.

PS: If I did ask a similar question in the past, please forgive me for that. Really don't remember.
