In the 90s first of all I suggest you LEAVE YOUR HOUSE TODAY and find a shelter for victims of domestic violence. If you can't drive to the shelter then go to the police station and tell the cops what's going on and ASK them to take you to a shelter for victims of domestic violence, if you can't walk to the police station then stop any police car driving by or call 911.

DO NOT TELL YOUR HUSBAND where you will be living, and do not make comments on Facebook about the shelter.Cut contact with ALL his friends and family.Do not answer his phone calls anymore, do not call him either,do not answer his emails.Once you have done what I posted here then contact me and maybe I can help you to file your self petition(VAWA). I am an attorney and domestic violence advocate. Your son's safety and your safety is more important right now than to find out about VAWA. It seems you have a VAWA case, most of the abuse told here was against your child, but any alien is eligible to file an I-360 Self-Petition if the alien is the parent of a child who has been abused by the US Citizen or Green card holder.

Abuse is not the victim fault, no matter what, but it's your responsibility to protect your child.

Nort Archer do you have an attorney? because sometimes attorneys have offices in different States and USCIS set up interview considering the Attorney location,it happened with some people here before.

If you live in Omaha, NE; St. Louis, MO; Wichita, KS; Des Moines, IA; St. Paul, MN then Kansas is the District office, but once they adjudicate the case in Kansas USCIS will ship your file to the local office.

There are many new people here and it seems nobody read the other threads, because I am still receiving messages about something that i posted before. I explained many times how I help people filing VAWA, then here is again

I will not talk to you over the phone,or Skype therefore DO NOT INSIST PLEASE,if i need to talk to you I will ask your phone number

I will not help anyone who has already an attorney

I will not talk to your psychologist about your psychological evaluation

I will not share samples of affidavits

I will not share psychological evaluation sample with you or with your psychologist.

Do not give me deadline when you want to submit your VAWA. I will review the forms and affidavit when I can.

You are not allowed to say to counselors/shelter and psychologists that I am your attorney, because I am not your attorney .

If you suffered MENTAL ABUSE you must have the psychological evaluation done before asking my help.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME or send me pm complaining that USCIS is taking long time to adjudicate your case or issue your EAD. I do not work for USCIS, that being said do not waste my time sending me message regarding USCIS TIMELINE.
