NVC have lost our file - any advice hugely welcome

oh God

we have the same case, we got our NOA2 on December 2nd and till now we've got nothing

we kept emailing them and calling them but all went in vain

we don't know what to do??????

Yamen - if it makes you feel better, from getting your NOA2 Dec 2 to now really is not that long a wait at all! In fact, it might be 'normal' timings, don't forget there's been Christmas and New Year holidays. (Some people, like myself, have been waiting 3-4 months after our NOA2 with still no confirmation NVC are processing our files).

If you've not heard from the NVC 30 days after receiving your NOA2, you should call them. You need to see if you've been assigned a case file number yet. With that number you can track your case online. So give both USCIS a call, to confirm they have sent your file. And, also NVC to check they've received it and get your file number. Good luck!
