Hi guys!

I had my interview on Thursday and I couldn't have gone any better. The appointment was for 1:30 pm and we checked in at 12:50. They called my name at 12:55 and we were out the door by 1:35 pm. The IO was friendly but to the point. Most of the interview was administrative/paperwork stuff. The interview questions that I remember were:

1. How old must you be to vote in an election?

2. What ocean is on the west coast?

3. What do the 13 stripes mean?

That's all I can remember, sorry guys. We went through my application and he asked to see my drivers license, passport and selective service registration. He didn't flip through my passport though. At the end of the interview I offered this years tax return info and he thanked me for being extremely organized. Needless to say, he recommended my case for approval! He said to expect an oath letter in "30 to 60" days. I did request to change my name but I hope it doesn't take that long though. we're thankful that we're that much closer to closing this chapter and starting a new one!

I had my interview/test on Thursday and it went great. I asked if it was possible for me to take my oath while I was up there, as it is a 4 hour trip every time I have to go up to that field office. I was told that they couldn't do it on the same day as my test/interview unless it was an emergency. She was able to get me scheduled for my oath ceremony though. It will be on May 29th. Congrats. I Was watching your timeline case with interest. I had my interview on Tuesday 21st Last week and noted yours was after mine, But we had the same outcome "a decision could not be made yet". I was hoping I would get an e-mail like you. But as i Applied in November , My office seems 100 times slower than the SFO office.

Its frustrating how one USCIS office can be so different to another. My case is clean, only married once, no convictions, no tickets, been here a full 3 years and I feel like I'm getting the runaround with USCIS.

Dear friends, just passing by, greeting everybody. I had my interview the last Wednesday and my oath ceremony the on Friday. this has been one of the greatest moments on my life. Is like a new birthday. Now as a citizen I have a more clear view of my future.

Good luck to everybody, do not give up, keep on faith that you will reach your goals.
