I forgot my wallet inside an American Airlines airplane an they never found it. Days after I received the date of my GC interview. I am so worried. I do have a digital copy of the EAD and SSN that I lost and also the receipt that came together with those cards. Do you think it should be ok if I present a digital or even a non certified copy of the EAD at the interview?

I think you should report them as lost items to the police. You can then bring the police records with you to the interview as well as those copies you made.

People loose or misplace things all the rime, am sure they will understand if you show the police report.

Good luck!

I hope they understand! And thanks a lot for your advice! I just filled a police report online! :) And also, sent an email again to American Airlines. It is unbelievable no one could search for my name on social networks like facebook. It is that simple to find an owner of a lost wallet / documents.

File a police report. It is not an issue unless you need to show proof of work eligibility or need to leave the US before you receive your GC (I am assuming the EAD was the EAD/AP combo card). The IO never asked about my wife's EAD/AP at our interview. Take the copies and the police report to the interview just to be safe. Hopefully you will receive the GC soon and that replaces the EAD/AP card.

Hi Dave! I just filled the police report! I hope this won't be an issue. I am already employed and I don't need to leave the country. I am sure I'll get the green card before having to travel or even get another job. And yes, it was the combo card. Hope they won't ask me my card at the interview!

Thanks for your support!
