Yes, file AOS stat. Include any medical documentation saying that it's a high risk pregnancy and that she cannot fly back.

When you file the AOS, that automatically gives you a period of authorized stay. So your wife would be here legally. Dont worry.

Send a copy of the i-130 NOA2 with the i-485. Also after you get your NOA1 for the i-485, let the NVC know to send your file back to the USCIS.

Also on part 2, should we be doing "h" for other basis of eligibility?

For nonimmigrant visa number I just put VWP.

Your bigger concern should be for the medical costs of the pregnancy. Even a routine birth can be thousands of dollars, and twins is only going to up that. You should obtain medical insurance as soon as possible, assuming you haven't already done so.

Current status would be "VWP" with an expiration date of whatever date is stamped in her passport.
