Hi everyone,

I just wanna ask, how long does it take to get copy of W2 and ITR1040 from employer?

Can someone tell me what requirements I should bring on the Interview?

Thank's :)

Income Tax Return (ITR) for 2013 is something the petitioner should have and be able to provide to the beneficiary for the interview. In the USA, we have until April 2015 to turn in our 2014 ITR to the government, so if your interview is before that then use 2013 and previous ITR.

W-2's from the employers usually go to the employees in January, possibly February. 1099 is also a related form. For example, retired military get a 1099 but not a W-2.

What month is your interview?

Everything required is listed in the embassy instructions letter, there are links in my guide below (both in English and Tagalog)

As for tax return and W-2, your fiance should have those already, next ones are not needed until after 15 April, 2015 so if you interview is before that he should send you his 2013 ITR and W-2

hello everyoone! my fiance doesn't have an ITR, he only sent me his 2013 - 2014 W2, paystubs, letter of employment, bank statement and AOS. Should the ITR be needed?? thanks!!!

The embassy instructions letter states - most recent tax return and W2. Employment letters, pay stubs and bank statements are secondary and usually not asked for.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form may be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You may also be asked to submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Download Form I-134 at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis.

Hi everyone,

I just wanna ask, how long does it take to get copy of W2 and ITR1040 from employer? W2's are to be given to each employee by January 31 following the conclusion of any calendar year. The ITR is actually the Individual Tax Return that the employee completes and is submitted to the IRS each year.

Can someone tell me what requirements I should bring on the Interview? The required documents that are needed for your interview are outlined in the Embassy Letter found here http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/feb2015/K1-K2%20Applicant%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_February%202015_.pdf More information is available in both Hank's guide and also mine. See each of our signatures (flashing and twisting red arrows) to find the link.

Thank's :)
