Planning to take my medical exam first week of January, but i'm still missing one required document which is the Letter case number, i think this holiday season is slowing it down. Can i just print a screenshot of the CEAC status tracker than says my MNLcase number is ready for interview?

Thanks and God bless

Schedule your interview. Print the appointment confirmation and bring it with you when you go to SLEC. That's what I did. They're still going to ask about the letter though. Just tell them you haven't receive it yet. :)

Have you tried emailing NVC to get your case number? To do this you have to use their exact format and required security info.

E-mail: NVCInquiry@state.gov The email request for your MNL # is also a great way to track when your file is forwarded to USEM as NVC will not reply to the email until that time. ;-)

If your petition is delayed or "lost" between USICS shipping it to NVC use this email: nvcresearch@state.gov

REQUIRED SECURITY INFORMATION:

You are required to provide the following security information with each inquiry to receive a case specific response:

* NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number (Place in the subject line of the e-mail). (this is your number from USCIS)

* Petitioner's name and date of birth.

* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth. (Beneficiary)

You can try the CEAC screenshot at your own risk. Might be a waste of time to go all the way to SLEC and get turned away because no NVC letter or email. Then again, SLEC might let you complete the medical with the screenshot only.

I got tired of waiting for the NVC to send me a letter. I called them and the lady that answered put in a request for me to be sent an e-mail. It took about 5 or so days to receive it, but we got it in time for my fiancé to take with her to SLMC. She said they probably would not have accepted the NOA2 we had - even though we had the case#. St. Lukes wanted something from the NVC with the case number on it.
