hi

I m permanent resident & I applied spouse visa for my wife , she is in india .our petition I-130 was approved by uscis & then they transfer my case to national visa center NVC. They send us letter showing my beneficiary name as FNU Jasdeep kaur.

FNU Means( first name unknown)

last name is kaur

first name is jaseep.

I tried calling NVC on (603) 334-0700.number not dialing

what should I do?

It could simply be a typo error. Keep on calling. I'm sure it can be sorted out easily as long as all info is correct on the i130 that you submitted.

It is common for Indian passports to put all of a person's names in the surname field. If that is the case with her passport, the visa must match it. All names will be in the surname field of the visa and first name unknown (FNU). Only option to get it listed differently would be to get a new passpotr.
