Marvin you are the security expert on here ... you have all that training you say . .. Facts are what little we know . The pair with the bb guns met with the security guard at the store. . He was the one that talked to the police department. Maybe even called them . Sounds like they had not paid for the BB guns . Sounds like he did not allow them to walk out of the store with the stolen merchandise .. Police got there and security officer tells them the description of the law breakers. and they are arrested with out any dangerous weapons on them

I forget. You do everything to the extreme. So let me slow down so you can follow. I think the cops arresting the two guys was the right way to go. They used the appropiate amount of force in the given situation. The situations in which Crawford and Rice were in, the cops used exessive force which cost both young men their lives. There's no excuse for it. They didn't deserve to be gunned down. They were both law biding citizens. One was a 13 year old kid. He was shot point blank in the chest before he had a chance to drop his toy gun.

We could change the rule of engagement for police officers - no shooting first. Once you have ascertained that the person is actually firing a real weapon with intend to kill or maim, then you can shoot him if he does not immediately stop shooting at you after you politely ask him to do so.

There was a guy (white) here a few weeks ago that tried to shoplift a rifle. The police shot him in the butt.
