I'm starting to print out bank and credit card statements to assemble my AOS packet, and when I open the PDFs I have access to online, each one has several extra pages detailing the account conditions, instructions on how to make deposits, etc. Maybe I'm just overthinking, but I know how incredibly strict NVC can be with these petitions. If I only print and send in the pages with pertinent information (account number, activity, balance, and my name), and those pages show "page X of X," it will be obvious that I am not sending all pages. I don't want them to think I'm withholding any information. Am I being over-worried or should I kill a few trees and print out everything? Twelve months of statements times a few different accounts equals a very, very thick envelope.

No worries, good luck tomorrow! Write a review after to let us all know how it went.

Now, anyone have any input on my original question?

I just called the NVC and asked a bunch of questions about the AOS package. One had to do with what they want to see from my bank account. I had read too that we need to send them the last 12 months of activity, but they told me yesterday that that was absolutely unnecessary, that just a current copy of my balance, with name and account number is fine. I feel like every time I get off the phone with them I am more confused. I am going to post a thread and see if anyone else has similar experiences.

Really?! That would be great if only the current balance were needed. Can anyone else confirm or deny this? Not that I don't believe someone told you that, but with NVC you always need to be sure.

I only submitted one copy of the first few pages of my most recent CitiBank bank statement; these pages show the balances and past month activities.

And no checklist? Has your case been completed?

@ kak

I called today and got the same response- only the most recent statement is necessary. No need for 12 months. Sounds promising!
