Interview Prep documents

Hi everyone, we are in the process of researching and preparing forms required by embassy and the CFO, we just got our NOA2 yesterday!

In particular, we are wondering about the CENOMAR and NBI clearance (green form), how many copies should we obtain? We are thinking that we'll need two of each, one to bring to the interview and another to bring to the CFO seminar. Also, we will probably get three or four birth certificates for the embassy, CFO, and for extra copies to have in the US.

The Interview Prep instructions (http://goo.gl/wBGfz5 ) do not mention Barangay Clearance or local police clearance (she has not lived abroad before) so i assume those will not be required. however, will it be helpful to provide those forms during the interview?

Any advice will be super helpful! Thanks!

Next on your list is waiting for you case file to reach NVC then getting your MNL #

The embassy instructions letter lists everything that is required, follow it, use it as your checklist for the interview. Link to the instructions letter in the guide linked below... follow the flashing arrow. Use links to the actual embassy website as things do change at times.

No you do not need any local police clearances.

Thanks so much Hank, we've been following your guide for reference and its been super helpful. We understand that the CFO sometimes asks for "Other documents" which can include CENOMAR, so should we obtain two copies of that? one for the us embassy and the other for CFO?

If you are completing CFO after the interview I would suggest getting two as CFO wants to see an original but only needs to keep a copy.
