Hello guys. I'm done with my interview last December 11th and had 221g for NBI with A.K.A. Sent it last December 22nd and my "status updated date" changed to December 24th when I checked it on Christmas eve. What does this mean? Hopefully the visa issuance won't take long and it's just the holiday delays that make it long. Is anybody here on the same boat? Would be so happy when AP turns to'Issued' before new year and just wait for the visa issuance :) Advance happy new year guys!

A status update means someone has touched your file. Could mean the answer to your 221g from NBI has been "attached" to your record. No one can tell you for sure nor can they tell you when you'll have your visa. But there is movement and that's a good sign. Relax, you'll have it soon.

Biometrics April 16, 2014 Biometrics completed

EAD May 23, 2014 Employment Authorization Document approved and went to card production

TD May 23, 2014 Travel Document approved and went for card production

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Biometrics Appt. Jan 29, 2016 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled [Completed]

Hey tommybear, my fiancee is on the same boat! The consul asked for an NBI with AKA and they received it on Dec. 11 and until now the status is still Administrative Processing! I think one of the reasons for the delay are the holidays! Hopefully we get the visa stamp early next year! Let's keep each other posted... Have a great new year!

Oh that is taking too long. Yeah hopefully that won't take long next year. Does you case been updated?

thanks for the fast reply tommybear! The last update date was on the week they have received the requested documents! Since then nothing changed!

Same with my case. Hopefully won't take long. They should have lots of pending transactions due to holidays. Let's just hope and pray!

We're still gonna wait till weekend pass then have the real wait on Monday January 5th. :-W

The status of my fiancee's visa is updated today Jan. 7, 2015 philippines time and says "Ready" from Administrative Processing. The status page shows to check in 2 days. Hopefully in 2 days it becomes "ISSUED". Hope everyone here gets an update too! I'm so relieved and happy right now. :-)
