I will prove to him that he was wrong about his thinking "wife will divorce him when she gets a job, that I only after for citizenship"..

You did not answer the question about whether living in the truck was a surprise to you, as if you had no idea about his life.

Anyone can understand that living in a truck is objectionable, unless he told you beforehand and you agreed. You can say here that you are going to prove him wrong about leaving him. But this isn't an agreement the two of you are making together. This is you making a decision by yourself and hoping that can manipulate him into behaving differently towards you. The only thing you control is yourself. You can't control him.

Marriage is about a team effort and making decisions together by mutual agreement. Like how you are going to live when you come to the USA, whether you are going to work, live in a truck, or play hippie music at nudist colonies.

You are dysfunctional as a couple if that was not agreed to in advance. It appears you didn't learn that over-arching lesson and are bound for the same mistake now. pride. If you made a mistake then own up to it instead of making it worse. People respect those who put their pride down and make the best decisions instead of being afraid of what people will say and then dying because of it.

He told me that we will live in the truck for few years, like 3 years maybe and I answered him "I don't know about that, we shall see since I have no idea if I would like to live in the truck or not" during my first few months I thought it was just normal and I am just adjusting the new lifestyle. Later on I realized that I am hating it. So we come up with a solution that while I am in the truck I will transfer my degree, get a job then will buy or rent a house depending on how much money we got, he will continue driving and try be home every week and when he retire he will get his own truck and do local job to be home everyday. Few weeks after we talked about that he said again he won't do it because he knows what the future will be and that is I will be divorcing him as soon as I get a job, the next day he talked to me and took back those words again. You know the feeling you thought you made a compromise to each other in a day, next day it will change, and it did not just happen once.

I arrived here last September2014 and same as you i lived at truck with my husband however I am very happy and we had a little misunderstanding sometimes which is normal as couple but he never abuse me mentally or physically. I knew already before coming here that I'll be leaving at truck, and I agree to it coz I love him and we do all things most of the time together. Do his paperwork's,help him tarping or untarping load, etc.and on weekends we go church, gym, shopping, getting grocery etc.etc..Sometimes I feel bored and so he is living on truck but it's the best way to get good money. I got my degree back in Phil's. But he even want me to get another degree here which I told him, later not now. I need job and need to help him financially so we can get a house the soonest time. I'm thankful to God that I got a supportive,God-fearing and understanding husband and vice versa. Hehehe.I hope and pray that whatever situation you are in now you will be safe and do keep praying. God bless.

Hope we will be friends.
