I have received and RFE from homeland security about my green card. They are asking me to submit an update form G-325, biographic information for the petitioner. I am the husband and I am the K-1 visa holder. the form isn't supposed to be about me?

Is there any chance they're asking you to submit a G-325A because you accidentally submitted a G-325 the first time? It's a fairly common reason for an RFE.

I submitt G-325A and now they said and I quote " Please submitt a cerified copyof birth certificate for the petionneer : The name of my wife"

Please sunmitte an updated form G-325A, biographic information for the petioneer : the name of my wife. "

I am the visa holder, is my wife still the petioneer and why they asked about that. It;;s really confusing!

Good chance they are re-creating the file, meaning they lost hers.. just do what the RFE says, & do it timely......

they even asked about everything like proos wich we already sent. Also, at the form I485 tPar 3B they asked to list our kids. We don't have kids, but my wife has from her previous marriage.

USCIS is famous for asking for the same documents over and over again....... just send what they request, no matter what they ask for & fill out ALL parts of forms they request......do not give them a reason to delay your case even more. I know its a pain in the keester, but they hold all the cards in this game......

As for asking for information on Children, that covers all kids, your's , her's and any if you had kids together. That is normal for them to ask about if kids are somewhere in this process even if your the Beneficiary or the Petitioner.

I have received an RFE from US department of homelaand securtiy about the form I-485 speceficly the part 3B. Me and my wife do not have kids together, however; she has kids from her previous mariage. We put None. What I want to know is that even if the kids are not mine, I have list them?

The Kids are from her previous marriage. And the form G-325A I though is about me, my biographic informationes. however her name is in there, nut they are calling her the petioner and asking for the form with a birth certificate. It's confusing

One last question. In the form I-485, I put we don't have kids and they didn't accept it. Shall I put my wife kids? is that what they want?

One last thing, your doing now the AOS, that effects both parties, the beneficiary (you) and the petitioner (your wife) so dont be surprised if they want more information on your wife.

a G-325a is required for both the Beneficiary AND the Petitioner.

so when I file the form, I have to send my birth certificate and my wife birth certificate. is that right?
