i mail my AOS along with I-864 2 weeks ago. They sent me RFE 2 days ago which i haven't received. i am wonderinf if this is ok.

i file i-864 with my recent tax year, which is year 2003,2004 and 2005.

i haven't file my tax for year 2006. Does it matter?

I-129F RFE(s) : 06/23/2006

Approved 7/26/2006

VISA APPROVED FINALLY 10/16/2006

Married on Dec 19th 2006......

someone posted yesterday that they had an RFE asking for 2006 tax info. It might be the same for you.?

We waited for 2006 W2 even though it meant we sent AOS a few days late.I knew we would be RFE'd for 2005. as the info did not reflect our current income.

have a look around in AOS posts. It was only yesterday I saw it :thumbs:

April 25 - NOA1

May, June, July lost to IMBRA and RFE's

Aug 22 - NOA2

Sept 25 - interview date OCTOBER 13th

Oct 26 - arrived at JFK - work authorized

Nov 21 - apply SSN, received Nov 29

Dec 16 - marriage license

Apr 16 - surprise RFE arrives..they lost my medical. New medical returned, Apr 23

Jun 28 - CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!

July 06- Green card arrives.

We haven't filed taxes this year yet so we didn't send it either. I thought taxes weren't due till April so why would they MAKE us file early?

So they are sending RFE's out for taxes that not even the federal government have made us file yet?

Can you show documentation to that effect? It sounds rather iffy to me...how could RFE's for the 2006 tax season be required when the tax season doesn't officially end until April 15, 2007?
