Oh someone moved my post to some other forum.

My question

1) What makes us Platinum members,gold member ,organizers etc

2) How can I have that authority to move someone's post ,lock some topics etc

3) Who is the founder/owner of this forum.I guess he must be making money from theses advertisements which we see here.And advertisements are here on VJ because people like you and me actively post or share our immigration experiences !!

Being an organiser or moderator is something experienced members with a good record of level-headedness and and answering questions may be asked to do. All organisers and moderators are volunteers.

2. You get asked to, after you have been here a long time. If you are not an organiser or moderator and feel a topic needs to be moderated in some way (moved to a different forum, violates TOS etc), you can use the "report" button at the bottom right of a post, and explain why you think the topic needs to be moderated. These reports will then be actioned by the next moderator online.

3. Captain Ewok is the current Admin. Considering server space etc needed for the forums, I doubt he makes much money on this.

Oh that means ...every month paying a rent for this site...so who is paying this rent ,where people like me can share their experience.

The person whosoever is paying for this must be a generous person ,I don't know may be he is getting something from advertisements
