I sooo don't wanna be here today.

I'm wicked tired. I was tired yesterday and last night my daughter crawled in my bed at around 1am and kept kicking the covers off of me so I got like NO sleep at all.

Plus I'm waiting on an answer to the job offer and the suspense is KILLING me. I talked to someone there about it and they said that "so and so will be in touch with you on that...." . I hate how cryptic they are about this stuff. I'm sure there's red tape and all that but just lemme know so I can give my notice already!!! I feel like I'm cheating on a boyfriend or something. lol.

Rahma good for you to walk in this cold!!! I just walk to the sub shop and back and that's about it unless I get a craving for a Big Gulp of diet Coke with tons of ice for crunchin'. lol

togetherforever - what exactly did the coworker say or does he just get a "feeling" from her? Maybe he's just misunderstanding it all?

Nope. Its quite blatant. She refused to train him on anything and if he asked a question he was summarily told "SHHHHHHHH!!!!" She told him he shouldn't be working there because his accent is deplorable and no one can understand him. He was interviewed and hired... seems management didn't seem to have a problem with it. There is more but I don't want to put it here. Its just not going to be a good situation for awhile. She even told him "Stay away from these Americans. They're just sh*t."

Hello everybody, Happy Friday!! We are going to Starkville today to the only mosque in North Mississippi for friday prayers. It is about a 40 min drive. This is our 3rd time to go and Hachemi enjoys it so much. He has made some friends there so I am happy for him. He even met an Algerian guy that is a asst. Professor at MSU. The guy was so happy to see Hachemi. He told Hachemi "I haven't seen an Algerian in 3 years."

My son's high school soccer team won the district championship so they are now in the playoffs. Hachemi and I work the concession stand at the game tomorrow. That ought to be fun....... NOT!

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Stay warm!!

My graduation is tomorrow !!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAY ! I will be walking across the University stage with honors and 8 months pregnant ...

Does anyone know where to buy Lei's ? (I want to get leid .. that was the biggest joke in high school). I really want one and Ali wants to get it for me we just are clueless as to where you get them from.

ibgrads.jpg

My entire family will be there to cheer me on (and catch me if I fall from all the wobbling I've been doing). Inshallah it will be a beautiful day and a beautiful graduation.

Today we are going shopping for an outfit to wear and honestly I am not looking forward to it. I'm getting sick of maternity clothes and I don't want to buy something too fancy cuz I know I won't wear it the next couple of months. Wish me luck

Reunited and it feels so good ....

What a cute idea !

You can get them at Party City for sure, and probably at Wal-Mart. Lots of places carry them -- maybe Target or even Walgreens. You can usually search online on the store websites.

Good luck and congratulations !!:dance:

I don't want a plastic one ... I want a real one. Do flower shops make them ?

Wow... that would be very pretty. (Might also cost a pretty penny :P ) I saw some lei sites online, but they can only ship overnight (I think you're in California -- will that be fast enough ?) Here are a couple sites that I saw: (there are many more)

http://www.therealleiman.com/

http://www.hawaiiflowerlei.com/lei/default.asp

http://www.leiorders.com/leigallery.htm

Maybe call one of your nicer local flower shops and see what they can do ?

Good luck !

Lei's aren't difficult to make. I went to a Lei making workshop when we were in Hawaii. Surely any decent florist would be able to make one for you.

If not, I would recommend ordering online. I ordered all of my wedding flowers online with overnight delivery, and they turned out amazing! Normally, cut flowers are packaged with a cooling pack to keep them fresh.

Here's another site you might want to check out:

Good luck, and congratulations!
