I read the I-130 FAQ, but didn't find an answer to this question:

My question is about an I-130 that's been approved, but a condition changed.

My wife's son, who lives in China, has been approved to apply for a visa.

Now he can fill out the DS-260 and submit his documentation to apply for a visa.

But a couple of years ago, he got married.

Does the marriage invalidate his I-130?

If your wife was an LPR when the son married he will not get a visa. She needs to file a new I130 and start waiting again. If she became a citizen first then the old petition is still valid but the wait for a visa is longer.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

hi

that petition is null and voided the day he married, If your wife is a USC she can file for him again and wait over 10 years, unless, as stated she already filed for him again once she became a USC
