Hello everyone, soon my fiancee will send the petition for Visa k1, my worry is that I lost my vaccination records, I got most vaccines I believe many years ago in different places but lost that little paper, what can I do? I still have few months before that medical exam and interview so it would be really helpful if someone could give me an advice.

Thanks in advance and happy holidays.

You have a few options:

- try and track them record down; maybe your parents have a copy, or the local health department, our your childhood doctor/ whoever took over from him.

- Get tither (blood test) to proof you had them/ are immune.

- Get them done again.

In certain countries, vaccinations are not required until your adjustment of status.

What is considered Adj of status? Applying for US Citizenship?

What is considered Adj of status? Applying for US Citizenship?

This is an older topic in the K-1 visa forum. AOS is something someone that enters with a K-1 will need to apply for after they are married.

Adjustment of status(AOS) > http://www.uscis.gov/tools/glossary/adjustment-immigrant-status

AOS does not apply to someone that enters the US with an immigrant visa, such as a spousal visa. It appears that is what you will enter the US with, so AOS is not a process that you will apply for or go through.

Applying for US citizenship.naturalization is an entirely different immigration process. > http://www.uscis.gov/us-citizenship/citizenship-through-naturalization/guide-naturalization
