:dance::dance: Hey Everybody!!! We finally got our visa from the embassy in Bangkok!! :dance::dance:

We arrived at the embassy around 7am. We were the third ones up at window 5 to turn in our docs. The Thai woman there was very "short" not nice at all. :angry: However, after finally getting past her, we took a seat and began our wait. :whistle:

After only about an hour, we were called back up for our interview. This was done in Thai by a very cordial and nice American guy. Could not have asked for a better CO. As soon as we got to the window, he smiled and said "this shouldn't take long." :thumbs: That was VERY encouraging!! After 3 brief questions, he informed us we were approved and to come back the following day @ 3pm to pick up her visa. :dance: WOOOOHOOOOO We were back the following day and now have it in hand.

The questions asked were:

1) How did you meet?

2) When was the first time he came to visit you?

3) How many times has he visited you here?

We will be flying back to the states on Feb. 5 with a POE of SFO.

Thanks to everybody for sharing your experiences and encouragement throughout this ordeal. Best of luck to all the rest of you still waiting. Hang in there!!! And remember, prayers ARE answered.

6/15/06 - Decided to delay sending and use new form when available

6/28/06 - Finally mailed to Nebraska Service Center

7/20/06 - NOA1

9/20/06 - Touched for the very first time

9/21/06 - Email NOA2 wooohhooo faster than we had hoped for

9/25/06 - Snail Mail NOA2

9/25/06 - Received at NVC, verified with phone call

9/27/06 - Sent to embassy in Bangkok! Hoping my love will be here for the holidays!!!

9/30/06 - Arrived at embassy and waiting for packet 3

10/24/06 - Finally recieved packet 3

11/22/06 - Packet 3 sent to BKK embassy

11/24/06 - Embassy received packet 3

01/08/07 - Received packet 4 from BKK embassy

01/29/07 - Embassy Interview

01/30/07 - VISA in hand!!

02/05/07 - Returning to states with POE @ SFO

04/05/07 - Filed AOS

04/13/07 - NOA for I-485

06/15/07 - Biometrics

03/25/08 - Interview Date

Feb 22nd, 2007 Interview date!! - VISA APPROVED!!!!!

May 04th, 2007 Barefoot wedding at Hutchinson Island, FL

May 09th, 2007 Applied for SSN

May 18th, 2007 SSN Received

June 9th, 2007 AOS + EAD paperwork sent

June 15th, 2007 NOA1 for AOS and EAD

June 18th, 2007 CHECKS CASHED (for both AOS and EAD)

July 10th, 2007 Biometrics Appt.

Aug 02nd, 2007 AOS transferred to CSC

Aug 22nd, 2007 EAD card production ordered!

Aug 29th, 2007 Greencard production ordered!!

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
