Thanks again for all your advice. On the letter I send them for our intent

to get to married there is a spot to write our Filing location. Is the location

where I mail the information the Filing location? I looked at government website

and it says to mail it to

USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266

Looking through the site here I see different Service centers for different parts of the country.

I am guessing it goes to this Dallas location and then sent to Service center close to my location?

But I should still put the Dallas address?

Thanks again

The address is not needed. But if you will include an address, then the Dallas address is fine.

Yes, it is an old memo, but people have been successful stating they will sign the G-325A form at the interview. I cannot find any other memos that supersede it though.. The current AFM just has general RFE guidelines and nothing specific to the I-129F petition, but it does also state to adhere to USCIS policy, including memos. The new policy manual does not yet list any info for case processing.

It probably will depend on the adjudicator, as do other aspects. Some will accept a scanned letter of intent, and some will send an RFE for an original signature. The instructions ask for a signed G-325A, and that is why I said people would be best in following the form instructions.

I was just making the point that not anyone saying the form did not need to be signed by the foreign fiance(e) for the I-129F petition submission would not necessarily be 'WRONG'.

That is like suggesting them to half fill out a form and hope for the best.

The form itself asks for a signature and a date at the time of submission.

I am not saying that people haven't been lazy and signed it at the interview and got away with it.

But it is slightly ridiculous to do it that way when it does not take that long to sign and mail it to your fiancé (excluding those few minority of people who live in areas where mailing is difficult and obsolete almost)

I full stand by saying that those who advise that you don't have to sign it are wrong.

People get an RFE for a signature all the time.

It's easier to not waste time and have it signed then wing it and hope for the best.

Put the address you send the I-129F petition to, OR put no addresses at all. They are not a requirement.

These samples work perfectly >
