How soon can someone put in service requests? We're 2 weeks past the stated 5 month processing time but when I try to put in an SR the website says my cases are still within the normal processing window.

I know there are lots of people still waiting for a response who have been waiting even longer than us. I hope we all get to move on to the next step soon. This waiting is sad for all when you think that the next step is taking longer too. We had so hoped for an answer before Christmas and now we probably won't get one until after the New Year. :-(

Here's to USCIS and NVC speeding up in 2015.

Their site says 5 months but they add another month, so they won't accept service requests unless you have been waiting six months or longer.

That's what I was fearing. Sigh. Well, not much I can do but continue to wait. :-(

Thanks for responding. Merry Christmas, if you celebrate.

I have been waiting 6 months and it won't allow you to subit one even now.

I saw a post that said they're still working on June 16. I also had heard that the week prior when I called USCIS. I wonder if that means that you can't submit a request until they say they're working on your date or after.

IMHO, I think it unfair to post that they complete petitions in 5 months or less if that is not accurate. Of course, not like my opinion will have any influence. :-D

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all. Roll on 2015 and approvals for all! Heh heh heh.

Hmmm... That's when I would start calling. I never had to as about a week after I submitted, We were approved. I would call.
