Hello All!

We haven't posted in quite some time....but we would like some feedback ~ and as always, thank you in advance!

We would like to plan a vacation to either Mexico or France. We would like one of my brother-in-laws to meet us there. Does anyone know how difficult it is for a Moroccan to get a tourist visa (from Morocco) to either destination. We were hoping to go in the next 2 months, but the date is not set in stone. My husband is already a citizen, so his going is not an issue. We would just like to meet Tariq there.

Thanks for any quidance or suggestions!

Yvette

Either country he will need a visa before arrival, neither country is a country where visa can be obtained upon arrival....... and I would stay out of Mexico, too much trouble there. France is nicer. Been there 7 times.

hi

you should go on both country's visa websites to see if Morocco qualifies for visa waiver for either. my US husband and I have been living in Mexico for the past few months waiting out the visa process and its absolutely beautiful and safe, depending on which part of Mexico you go to and if you research it, you should have no saftey issues. We're at Rosarito beach, 30 minutes from the California US boarder , we were also told stories before we came here that it was not safe but it's just plain untrue.

Hi! It might be too late for me to help but if you need specifics for a moroccan looking into a mexican tourist visa PM me and I will gladly ask my fiancé to give me the exact list of papers he needed to get it. The visa is good for 6 months (180 days).

Mexico is a beautiful, safe and economic country. Stay out of Michoacan and any other known Zeta areas. The rest of the country is as safe and as dangerous as any country can be. Use your common sense and stay safe. If you're looking to be in the Bajio area, I can help you too, I lived there for my university days.

Morocco does not qualify under the visa waiver program. Unfortunately its quite difficuit for young moroccan males to get a tourist visa to most countries. Mostly eldery men, women and children are given the most visas. If you are given a visa you have to show proof of ties to Morocco, i,e. Emplyment, money in a bank, family.... My husband have tried to meet with his brothers for years. Only recently was he able to bring his brother here for a visit under the visa waiver program because he was able to get his citizenship through spain recently. That in itself is another long story. However, you can always try for the tourust visa. Nothing is impossible. But the odds are great.
