Hi all,

As we will getting married in Vietnam, we will have to cancel our k-1 and do cr-1 later on.

The question i have is that, i heard vietnam requires the US person to prove that he/she is Single before they can file for marriage certificate.

How can i go about doing that? does anyone know which form/where to go for it?

Thanks all.

if you are in vn, then go to US embassy, request a single status documents, i think it's around $50...

if you are currently in the states, then you need to request a single status from your local gov't and send to your capital city for stamp....or just do it when u r in vn if u have a lot of time in vn.
