FWIW, USCIS /USA requires only photocopies of stuff that USCIS/Guangzhou claims must be original.

I got an email reply from them stating they couldn't tell me the answer because it's considered "legal advice" and that I should contact a lawyer... That's sort of ridiculous that they can't at the very least tell me what is required upon filing. Meeting basic requirements doesn't exactly require legal advice...

man - i dunno - the i-130 instructions are solid. there are 6 types of bonafide marriage evidence there. the 'other' category includes photos, receipts for trips, affadavits from humans, etc etc. and that's a lot of ecetera, let me tell ya !

My lawyer opened the fat stack of proof that I mailed her last week. 4 pounds and 13 ounces. Then I emailed her some chat records today for her to print. She asked me to whittle down the chat records to 3 days, 1st day we chatted, one day last summer and this morning, the stack was getting too fat. We will be submitting our I-130 in the next day or two.
