Our status update has been in "Ready" status at the embassy. We waited 2 weeks then scheduled an interview. We were sent home due to no documents recieved. Since then,we have noticed the staus is still "Ready" but has been updated on 12-15,12-16,12-17.we called the embassy and Nvc and found out the embassy has recieved the documents, but unfortunately, they will not allow us to schedule the interview. All medical, ds160,etc is complete. Today we noticed it was updated again with today's date? What do the new updates mean?

Ok, I found out some info that may help others wit the same question. If you go to the online profile site that you go to to schedule an interview, you can click on 'feedback' after logging into your profile you made. Our status was updated today. The system will show the update, case number for the new update, and reason.our reason was 'no show'.after calling the service center,we found that the new update was due to embassy closure and that our case has been escalated. These updates have been driving us crazy do to unavailable info on who is updating, and what it means.finally! Hope this helps someone else.
