You volunteered someone's personal information on here yet you aren't permabanned. I would like to see the mods on here explain that one. I have seen posters on here permabanned for a lot less. How does one post another posters personal information on this board yet not get permabanned?

The person in question was not a current VJ member and the 'personal information' was actually a matter of public record.

I don't know if you saw it but there was a recent news story about a Las Vegas man named Michael Sena (to the best of my knowledge not a VJ member if anyone is wondering) who was recently arrested for shocking child abuse. What was also disturbing was that the man and his wife had created a (apparently very convincing) facade on social media that they were a perfect family. Clearly that wasn't the case.

If you found out something like that about someone, what would you do with the information? The TOS protects everyone equally, as it should, because it makes no assumptions about people on the boards. On the other hand, posters here routinely make assumptions about others in the things that they post. Sometimes that's based on factual information but more often than not it isn't.
