You know that thing where they tell you that if you encounter a predator with sharp teeth to raise your arms and make yourself as big as you can, to scare them away? That works with cops too.

You can't be aggressive about it. That will cause you pain. But the look in their eyes when you take a step back and raise your arms is priceless.

I'm white and I've had cops pull guns on me numerous times. Guess what? I deserved it almost every time. The one time where I didn't deserve it they were just being safe because they thought I was someone else. Surprisingly I did what they told me, and all was good. I didn't pull out my phone, start filming, and turn in to a babbling cry baby.

What have you been doing that has resulted in cops pulling guns on you on more than one occasion?

I can safely say that has never happened to me in my life.

You volunteered in a public forum that you have had guns pointed at you by police officers on more than one occasion. I don't think asking you what you were doing to prompt that is unreasonable, nor do I think its something that anyone else reading the thread wouldn't be curious about.

I could be wrong but I don't believe that's a very common occurrence in the lives of the average person. But then again asking the question doesn't require a reply, although I'd be curious if you would have reacted this way if someone else asked the question...?
