On question 22 it asks, "When do you intend to arrive in the US?"

My fiance and I have the interview on 3/14, I have purchased her ticket and my return for 3/16. Should I put that date or should I use the example on VJ's forms that say "When Visa is granted."

The DR Consulate is a pain, and don't want them to question why I've purchased this ticket 2 days later. The ticket is nonrefundable, but it is changeable for a $40 fee.

Like the other responders, my wife answered "when the visa is granted".

But if you have specific plans, and it seems that you do, go ahead and provide the specific answer. If the consulate can accomodate your plans they possibly will. They can't accomodate you if they don't know what you want.

Just recognize that if the consulate cannot accomodate your plans you're going to have to change them.
