Greetings all, date formats are used differently around the world and I was wondering if the date format needs to be changed American style when documents are translated. For example my husband police record was given 7/12/2014 (December 7th). In America we would write 12/7/2014. So, when document translated from Spanish to English, would the date also be written American format? I just want make sure they don't read the date wrong. The police report is valid for 6 months, so I don't want them to think it is expired already when they see the date written first. I would appreciate your advise.
