I'm honestly praying for all of us. 5 months should be the max. My husband has been so supportive but now he's even growing impatient. We both keep checking. I filed a service inquiry when I couldn't view my case and I received an email back stating it is currently taking 4 month's to process this type of visa and if I don't hear by the fourth month to file an additional inquiry. I was surprised they put 4 month's turn time in writing. Jan 5th will be 4 month's. Keep hope alive!

Consider yourself lucky if the whole process takes less than a year leave alone 5 months. But yeah just I-130 approval should take just 5 months. The NVC process thereafter takes another 4 and then the wait for interview.

Thanks for the sympathy. (I think). I don't care if it's 5 weeks, I want to be with my hubby. And at the end of the day if I want to vent let me vent or trip as you stated in peace! Thanks :). I obviously know it's a long wait. That Doesn't minimize my desire to be with my hubby or to complain about the process

Thanks Girl! You're too funny though, you didn't give me a chance to reply to your original comment before you edited it. I read it though and couldn't agree more with what you said ha! Thanks for the encouragement!

My PD was 3rd Feb 2014(petition as an LPR) and petition upgraded to IR as my wife naturalized. They said my first PD will not be valid anymore instead the naturalization date will be my PD. Waiting from October.. We sent service request in December, they asked me to wait for at least 4 months.. 10th Feb is the day completing 4 months.. No expectations No hopes.. :)
