I got my NOA2 almost 2 weeks ago. I haven't heard from the NVC yet but I need to know about the Support document that I have to send her. I am self employed now. (I wasn't when I filed at first) But the I-134A says that if I am self employed then I have to submit my tax return for last year. I didn't earn a lot of money last year but have a letter from where I was explaining why( I was a full time voluntereer). But I am making ok now. Do I need to get a job from a company so that they can say that I have a ----- anual income? I have 2 ones willing to be sponsors. One is my parents. The other is a rich lady that I know. What do you think? Am I in trouble or or can I still get the visa being self-employed. Thanks for your help.:help:

I don't have an answer for you but I will be in the same boat when our NOA2 is approved. I just returned to the states from a 2 year assignment as a missionary and now I am self employed as a Spanish tutor. I am planning on my parents as sponsers I don't make much money.

sorry to hear that you have to go through the same thing as me. But I can tell you that I filed with the Texas SC and got NOA2 in about 3 months. So you should get yours in about 2 more months. I'll let you know what I find out since nobody here seems to know.

Seeing as you have a co-sponsor lined up you're fine. They just want to make sure the fiancee won't be on public support.

Send an email to the email address that I have listed in my signature and since you have listed the information that you have I'll be glad to advise you on this one, a sure fire way to show support in a grand fashion.

I posted a topic about not having any income but havinga joint sponsor. I got an answer that if I had a joint sposor I should be fine. But it still plauges me. I haven't filed any paperwork or anything. Should I write a letter when I submit the I-134 stating why I haven't been employed for 2 years and that I do have intentions of being employed. How does that work. I just want to know from someone who knows.
