Hi,

I've read the instructions on how to fill out the N-400 but there is something that is confusing to me:

1. It says to include times i've been outside the US for the past 5 years and I've only been a resident for 3 years. Anytime before that I wasn't even living here so how would that be relevant. Does it mean since I became a resident?

2. Under Additional Information it asks a bunch of questions where you would choose Yes or No. There are a few where it asks and if you say Yes, the next one after that says "If Yes" basically to answer it. If I answered No, do I not choose yes or no?
