Tell that to all the idiots running around with their hands up in the air.

they're not protesting for the right to rob people or assault police. there is a growing number of people who are waking up and recognizing the symptoms of our collective problem for what they are. the us police state has nothing to do with race, unless you're drinking the kool aid.

you don't understand my argument. killing an entire classroom and as you said, new policies are in place and yada yada. a whole slew of innocent people are killed daily across this country to violence and we don't care so much. it's not a sensational story, and it seems a large sector of the american public believes that non-sensational violence is a black problem.

I disagree in that we don't care as much. It is much harder to effectively address hundreds of isolated incidents where one or two people are killed at a time rather than one incident where 26 people are killed at one time.

PS, VJ is acting kind of funny for me today and I can't get the pages to load properly, so if I've missed anybody in a reply, I apologize.

Not sure why you felt the need to say that they're not protesting to rob or assault people, but carry on. I don't think anyone here has made that assertion.

I thought they're running around with their hands up to protest the Michael Brown incident, even though there's zero eveidence the guy EVER put his hands up. You knew that though, didn't you?

It's because you're white. It's happening to me too. I suspect Marvin is having no issues at all. We should run around in the streets with our hands in the air to show our displeasure.

i said that because you referred to the protestors as idiots. and protesting one's right to rob and assault is the only reason i can see for calling a group of lawful protestors idiots.

hands up can be sort of symbolic of the fact that he was unarmed, maybe? i don't know, some of the witnesses were never there to begin with. evidence. smh.

According to your leader they didn't build it.

you're right, they didn't. their daddy did.

The stockholders, including employees that take advantage of the company's stock purchase plan?

yeah, they're the real winners in all of this. <_<

The black community has to decide whether or not they want a strong police presence in their neighborhoods to discourage crime and all that goes with that, or not. I would conjecture, at least from the on the street interviews in Fergussion, those citizens that work and live in the neighborhoods prefer the occasional extra scrutiny rather than seeing the places where they work and shop being burnt to the ground. The thugs that were doing the looting and the burning, were not model citizens, by any means.

We are all not one hive mind.

Can you honestly make that comparison Marv? I don't think so. Most black crime is street crime, not something that takes place in a 200 story high rise with a bank book.

Think of it this way. When a white person is in a fancy car and dressed up, what's the first assumption? They're a business person. No one would say off the bat their some white collar thief. It's the assumption that most black people are criminal that is the issue.

Val is correct in saying there is something inherently criminal with black people. This is what's mostly touched on.

When did you renounce your citizenship?
