I don't see this incident as a definitive "Black vs. White" thing, there's really no proof of that as of yet. Based on the ethnicity of the two cops that were shot, It appears to be more of a "Black vs. Cop" thing.

Exactly. Just as there was no evidence of it being a black vs. white thing in Ferguson or Sanford. That's my point.

I'm with you on that, just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I like to err on the side of facts of logic.

Why did race come in to play in Fergison and Sanford. You do at least agree that race was introduced (but never proven) as a factor in those case, don't you?

the types of racial discriminations and injustices that play into these recent events, zimmerman - ferguson - ny, etc etc aren't the types of racism that can be readily seen or proven. overall the issue is police brutality/accountability and america's massive pic. end of story.

this guy, i think of him like i would any other arsehole that decides he's going to kill a bunch of his family and then himself. he didn't say i'm going to give some white pigs their wings, he just said pigs.

I see this as a violence begets violence case. Many blacks around our nation feel the justice system has been less than just lately. I can see where they got the notion, regardless of merit.

did you think the pa cop killer was 'white vs cop"?

What does the pa cop killer have to do with this case? The shooter in this case made it clear that he was avenging the deaths of Mike Brown and Eric Gardner.

well, that would depend on if you're looking at race or motive. i'm looking at motive - which is cop killing -which logically ties these two cases together. you said black vs cop, so you're viewing this through a racial lens straight off the tip.

It amazes me that some here minimize the racial component of certain cases, and then blow it out of proportion in others. Funny how that works.

Did you look at motive in Ferguson or Sanford as well? Seems most didn't. They saw race, and that was the end of it. Screw the facts.

No, it was the shooter that did that. I'm just making judgements based on the facts presented.

“I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” a person believed to be the gunman wrote on Instagram in a message posted just three hours before the officers were shot through their front passenger window.

The post included an image of silver automatic handgun with a wooden handle. Another post showed camouflage pants and blue sneakers which matched the clothing the dead gunman was wearing as his body was carried from the scene on a stretcher.

“They Take 1 Of Ours … Let’s Take 2 of Theirs,” the post continued, signing off with, “This May Be My Final Post.”

i don't really know how many times i said that i didn't believe the cop killed mb because he was black. i don't believe eg was killed because he was black. i think that black people die at the hands of law enforcement because there is less accountability when the citizens they are policing considered second class. be it poverty or race, most times it's both.

It is funny to watch both the left and the right use these deflection tactics when it suits them.

Let's not forget that black people also commit crimes at a much higher rate than any other race in the US, therefore they have far more interaction with law enforcement than any other race.

Could it have anything to so with the disproportinate rate of crime that poor/black people commit as opposed to otherincome levels/races? No one is forcing anyone to break the law.
